Empowering Children's Wellbeing

Our mission is to provide comprehensive mental health and neurodevelopment services for children, aiming to support their growth and well-being. By offering a bridge between applied behavior analysis and neuroscience, we strive to enhance the lives of children and families.

About Us

Emergent Learning Centers was founded in 2020, when two of the most recognized scientists in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis decided it was time to build something different: a company that would take the latest innovations in behavioral science and bring them directly to the communities that needed them most. What began in a single tiny office has grown into the nationally visible force that Emergent is today, spanning nine states with more than fifteen centers, home-based services, and telehealth reaching families across the country.

From the earliest days, Emergent enlisted young, talented, Master and Ph.D. graduates, and that commitment to intellectual-heavy leadership remains at the core of who we are. But we were equally dedicated to accelerating the talents of people brand new to the field, and that investment has paid off in the best way possible: many of those early hires now serve as regional and state directors overseeing multiple locations. That is not an accident. It is how we believe a company should grow, from the inside, around the people who built it.

Today we stand bold, proud, and grateful, with hundreds of employees serving hundreds of children. Yet each one still feels every bit as important as the first the first case that set everything in motion. We have never taken on an outside investor. There are no business managers or disconnected leadership steering from a distance. The entire current and future direction of Emergent is driven by scientists, the same way it was on day one.

We have gotten bigger, but it does not feel that way, and that is by design. We do not chase growth for its own sake, scale past what we can do well, or commercialize what should remain clinical. Every new center, every new state, and every new program is a deliberate, strategic decision made only when we know we can deliver the same quality of science and the same closeness of community that defined that first office. Designed by scientists. Delivered by experts. Still true, at any size.
